About Me

Hi, I'm Rahimul Islam Mazumdar, a Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering (EEE) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, Assam, India. I completed my MS (Engg.) in the EEE department at IIT Guwahati and earned my Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) with a specialization in Electronics and Communication Engineering from North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, Meghalaya, India.

My research interests include computer vision–based distracted driving monitoring on embedded platforms, as well as signal processing and machine learning, with a focus on visual, cognitive, and manual driver distraction detection using AI-based safety systems.
